This Lennox 3 ton air conditioner and gas furnace system includes the ML13KC1-036-230 air conditioner, the CK40UT-48B-71 cased coil and the ML180UH090E48BK gas furnace in an upflow setup. It is an AHRI certified match, certificate 215587288, rated 15.4 SEER2.
What's Included
- ML13KC1-036-230: the outdoor air conditioner. It cools your home.
- CK40UT-48B-71: the indoor evaporator coil (cased coil, 19.5 inches wide). It sits on the furnace and works with the outdoor unit to remove heat from your home.
- ML180UH090E48BK: the gas furnace, 80% AFUE, 90,000 BTU input, 17.5 inches wide. It provides heat and moves air through the coil.
AHRI Certified Rating
AHRI, the Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute, runs an independent program that certifies how specific outdoor and indoor equipment performs as a matched system. This combination is listed in the AHRI Directory under certificate number 215587288. As a certified match, it is rated 15.4 SEER2 and 13 EER2. SEER2 measures cooling efficiency over a typical season, and EER2 measures cooling efficiency on a hot day. Higher numbers mean less electricity for the same comfort. The ML180UH090E48BK gas furnace is rated 80% AFUE. AFUE is the furnace's own heating efficiency rating, separate from the AHRI system rating above.

Refrigerant
The outdoor unit and indoor coil use R-454B refrigerant. R-454B equipment should not be mixed with R-410A components.
