This Lennox 4 ton air conditioner and gas furnace system includes the EL22KCV-048-230 variable capacity air conditioner, the CK40UT-60C-71 cased coil and the ML193UH110XE48CK gas furnace in an upflow setup. It is an AHRI certified match, certificate 217886372, rated 19.75 SEER2.
What's Included
- EL22KCV-048-230: the outdoor air conditioner. It cools your home.
- CK40UT-60C-71: the indoor evaporator coil (cased coil, 21.5 inches wide). It sits on the furnace and works with the outdoor unit to remove heat from your home.
- ML193UH110XE48CK: the gas furnace, 93% AFUE, 110,000 BTU input, 21 inches wide. It provides heat and moves air through the coil.
AHRI Certified Rating
AHRI, the Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute, runs an independent program that certifies how specific outdoor and indoor equipment performs as a matched system. This combination is listed in the AHRI Directory under certificate number 217886372. As a certified match, it is rated 19.75 SEER2 and 13 EER2. SEER2 measures cooling efficiency over a typical season, and EER2 measures cooling efficiency on a hot day. Higher numbers mean less electricity for the same comfort. These ratings apply when the listed components are installed together, and you can enter the certificate number in the AHRI Directory to confirm them.
The ML193UH110XE48CK gas furnace is rated 93% AFUE. AFUE is the furnace's own heating efficiency rating, separate from the AHRI system rating above.
Thermostat
Per Lennox installation instructions 508484-01, the EL22KCV works with a regular two-stage thermostat and still runs at its full variable capacity, so you do not need a communicating thermostat. A thermostat is not included.
Refrigerant
The outdoor unit and indoor coil use R-454B refrigerant. R-454B equipment should not be mixed with R-410A components.
Warranty
HVAC USA is an authorized Lennox reseller, and this is new factory equipment. It carries the full Lennox warranty when a licensed, manufacturer-certified contractor installs it and registers it within 60 days.
