What to compare at 18,000 BTU
Merit models (ML13KC1 and ML14KC1) are Lennox's entry line, and Elite models (EL15KC1 and EL16KC1) sit a step above. Every unit here is single-stage, so it runs at full output whenever it's on. SEER2 is a system rating, so the coil or air handler you pair affects the number you get. Size it from a Manual J load calculation, and treat your old unit's size as a starting point only.
Pair it with a Lennox furnace and evaporator coil, or a Lennox air handler. For a matched indoor side at this size, see Lennox 18,000 BTU air handlers.
Call (913) 364-0070, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm CST, and we'll help you confirm sizing and an AHRI-matched pairing before you order. Free shipping on major equipment from our Kansas City warehouse to every state and D.C. except Alaska, Hawaii, Washington, Oregon, and Idaho, where you pay the shipping rate shown at checkout. Each product page shows whether an item qualifies. HVAC USA is an authorized Lennox reseller, and everything we sell is new factory equipment. Your full Lennox warranty applies when a licensed, manufacturer-certified contractor installs your system and registers it within 60 days.
