Every unit uses R-454B refrigerant. These are Elite models (EL18KSLV and EL19KPV), a step above Lennox's entry-level Merit line. Both are variable-speed and adjust output to the load. Heating ratings run 8.5 to 9.5 HSPF2. SEER2 and HSPF2 are system ratings, so the indoor coil or air handler you pair affects both.
