This Lennox 3 ton dual fuel heat pump and gas furnace system includes the EL16KP1-036-230 heat pump, the CK40UT-48C-71 uncased coil and the EL280UH110E60CK gas furnace. It is an AHRI certified match, reference 215739649, rated 16 SEER2 and 7.8 HSPF2.
What's Included
- EL16KP1-036-230: the outdoor heat pump. It cools in summer and heats in milder weather.
- CK40UT-48C-71: the indoor evaporator coil (uncased coil, 20 inches wide). It connects to the furnace and works with the outdoor unit to move heat.
- EL280UH110E60CK: the gas furnace, 80% AFUE, 110,000 BTU input, 21 inches wide. It provides heat when it is too cold for the heat pump to run efficiently and moves air through the coil.
AHRI Certified Rating
AHRI, the Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute, runs an independent program that certifies how specific outdoor and indoor equipment performs as a matched system. This combination is listed in the AHRI Directory under certificate number 215739649. As a certified match, it is rated 16 SEER2 and 13.4 EER2, with 7.8 HSPF2 for heating. SEER2 measures cooling efficiency over a typical season, and EER2 measures cooling efficiency on a hot day. HSPF2 measures heating efficiency over a typical season. Furnace Efficiency and Orientation
The EL280UH110E60CK is rated 80% AFUE, so about 80 percent of the fuel it burns becomes heat for your home. This system is set up for an upflow installation, with the furnace blowing air up through the coil above it. Pick the orientation that matches your existing ductwork.
Refrigerant
The outdoor unit and indoor coil use R-454B refrigerant, and the system includes refrigerant leak detection. R-454B equipment should not be mixed with R-410A components.
Warranty
HVAC USA is an authorized Lennox reseller, and this is new factory equipment. It carries the full Lennox warranty when a licensed, manufacturer-certified contractor installs it and registers it within 60 days.
