This Lennox 2.5 ton dual fuel heat pump and gas furnace system includes the EL16KP1-030-230 heat pump, the CK40DT-42B-71 cased coil and the EL280DF090E48BK gas furnace. It is an AHRI certified match, reference 215712708, rated 14.7 SEER2 and 8.2 HSPF2.
What's Included
- EL16KP1-030-230: the outdoor heat pump. It cools in summer and heats in milder weather.
- CK40DT-42B-71: the indoor evaporator coil (cased coil, 17.5 inches wide). It connects to the furnace and works with the outdoor unit to move heat.
- EL280DF090E48BK: the two stage gas furnace, 80% AFUE, 88,000 BTU input, 17.5 inches wide. It provides heat when it is too cold for the heat pump to run efficiently and moves air through the coil.

AHRI, the Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute, runs an independent program that certifies how specific outdoor and indoor equipment performs as a matched system. Refrigerant
The outdoor unit and indoor coil use R-454B refrigerant, and the system includes refrigerant leak detection. R-454B equipment should not be mixed with R-410A components.
