Description
The Lennox EL297UH135XE60D is an Elite Series two-stage gas furnace rated 132,000 BTU input and 128,000 BTU output on high fire at 97% AFUE. It comes in a 24.5-inch D cabinet, installs upflow or horizontal, and has a constant torque blower sized for 3.5 to 5 tons of add-on cooling.

Sizing and fit
Size the furnace from a Manual J load calculation. Filters and filter mounting aren't included, so plan for a filter rack.
Even with the X low NOx code, Lennox says this furnace series can't go in the South Coast and San Joaquin Valley air districts. It isn't certified for mobile homes, RVs, or outdoor installs.
