Choosing a 132,000 BTU Lennox furnace
The ML180 and SL280 are 80% AFUE and typically vent through a metal flue, which often makes for a simpler swap when you're replacing another 80% furnace. The ML196 and EL297 are condensing furnaces, so plan for PVC venting and a condensate drain. The ML180 and ML196 are single-stage. The EL297 and SL280 are two-stage, with a low stage for milder days. Size the furnace from a load calculation, then match the cabinet width to your space and your evaporator coil.
