Description
The Lennox SL280UH090V60C is a Dave Lennox Signature Collection two-stage gas furnace rated 88,000 BTU input and 70,000 BTU output on high fire at 80% AFUE. It comes in a 21-inch C cabinet, installs upflow or horizontal, and has a variable speed blower sized for 3 to 5 tons of add-on cooling.

Your efficiency rating depends on the exact outdoor unit, coil, and furnace together.
Sizing and fit
Size the furnace from a Manual J load calculation. Filters and filter mounting aren't included, so plan for a filter rack.
This model doesn't carry the X low NOx code. For California, the SL280UH090XV60C meets the state's 40 ng/J NOx standard, but Lennox says this furnace series can't go in the South Coast, San Joaquin Valley, and Bay Area air districts. It isn't certified for mobile homes, RVs, or outdoor installs.
